- He traveled to America in 1733 and he found Savannah, Georgia.
- He later went back to England in mid- 1740s.
- He passed June 30, 1785.
During James's time him and King George wanted to experiment for from the citizens and have them imprisoned but first settlers had to confirm the debt plan. Unfortunately for them them plan was a major fail.
Debtors we're to receive 50 acres of land to farm on. Residents always complained about not being to buy or sell because of that fact. If they did have land it would be small and it was usually bad soil so they couldn't plant crops. And for that reason residents moved to North and South Carolinas.
